Flashing Glow Plug Light.

Hello all,

 

my glow plug light has been flashing whilst the car is being driven, there are now problems getting the car started or any noticeable performance issues. the car has done 80000 miles. Anyone any ideas as to what is causing the flashing light?

 

I will be replacing the glow plugs on saturday(hopefully this will sort it)

 

any help will be appreciated

Faulty Brake switch, faulty brake light or ECU has detected a faulty sensor. Ironically NOT faulty glow plugs....

Faulty Ignition Relay, this will be the one at the bottom right, cant remember the number, possibly 130 ?

Most likely will feel rather hot to the touch.

I'm assuming you have a diesel since you called it the 'glow plug light' would help everyone to put your car details in your signature
